I’m wearing a Hurley dress, H&M jacket, Bebe belt, Jeffrey Campbell Mel shoes (that you can’t see), necklace and bracelet via Varga and Topshop bag (to lug my Rebel camera around). Mel (my twinny) is wearing my vintage 80′s dress via Nasty Gal.
It was great to finally meet Nora from Fashion + Geometry (3rd from left)!
Host of the night, Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory, dressed in the latest plastic fashion trends
Below are some shots I snapped backstage before the shows kicked off. The models all looked so amazing… and now I want to go out and buy a hair crimper.

Last night’s 12th Annual Gen Art “Fresh Faces in Fashion” Show Plastics Make it Possible was amazing. Held at the Petersen Automotive Museum, it was the Official Opening Show for Rock Fashion Week Los Angeles and showcased cutting-edge designers and artists, and how plastics are shaping the future of fashion and design.
Womenswear designers Leyendecker, Rory Beca, Seneca Rising, Valerj Pobega and menswear designer MG Black rocked the runway. Really liked all the collections but my personal fav was Seneca Rising for the vibe of the overall show and styling. I’ll be posting photos of some choice runway looks, but in the meantime, hope you enjoyed seeing my photography skills put to the test backstage.
Hope you all have a fun Halloween weekend!

H&M jacket and pants. American Apparel t-shirt. Bloomingdales scarf. Vintage belt and Justin Roper boots
“When in doubt, wear red.” – Bill Blass
Regardless of having a stacked wardrobe, I always find myself gravitating toward some variation of this look. I guess you can say the combination of a biker jacket, skinny pants and combat boots makes me feel the most comfortable in my own skin.
Hope you all have a happy Sunday Funday!

H&M sweater and skirt. Vintage shoes and belt (worn backwards)
I used to hate the color brown and avoided it at all costs. But I’ve since grown out of my dislike for brown, similar to how I’ve grown out of my hatred for asparagus, and embraced this neutral color. Of course, brown and black always go well together, but gray with brown is also a solid combo and I decided to mix all three neutrals together.
For the last few days, I’ve been overplaying “Dream” by Priscilla Ahn. Her voice is amazing and recently I’ve been relating to these lyrics.
Hope you all have a great rest of the week! xo, Becs
