YOU know how mostly everything is better WITH bacon? Metaphorically speaking about style, my bacon would be leopard print and anything with leather sleeves. They just make my outfits THAT much better.
Loving the minimalistic nature of a basic ankle strap, slingback with these Zara shoes. And of course, they now come in RED. Usually steer away from ordering the same style in a different color, but these may become another one of those exceptions to the rule.

REALLY have my dad to thank for letting me stealhave a few of his old baseball caps, thereby kickstarting my recent obsession with snapbacks. The amount of extra time I’ve poured over snapback sites, searched on Etsy and eBay for caps and watched YouTube videos about customizing snapbacks is, to put it bluntly, obscene.
Wore this casual crochet get-up to the Hester Street Fair on Saturday where Mel and I bumped into Jooyoun (center) from Shop Publik. Such a fun surprise seeing her!
to the desert. This was from around a month ago during a weekend getaway to Palm Springs where we stayed at the Del Marcos Hotel — the perfect balance between charm, serenity and character. And yes, I wore that turban headscarf despite it being 100+ degrees. Talk about commitment to my (over) accessorizing for the pool!
LIKE putting on a brand new pair of socks, there is nothing like wearing a crisp white t-shirt for the very first time. Hashtag LITTLE THINGS.
This past weekend, I took advantage of Mango’s current sale and picked up this fitted, rolled sleeve cotton t-shirt (with THE perfect amount of spandex/stretch) for $12. OH YEAH. Knowing I wanted to keep my look summer breezy and inspired by all the tie-dye in the 2013 Resort collections (LOVE), I paired the t-shirt with these tie-dye denim shorts and my new Pierre Hardy silver high-tops. Can you say business on top and party on the bottom?!
Thanks so much to DailyBuzz Style for letting me partake in the classic white t-shirt style challenge!
SHORT hemlines usually call for some overcompensating elsewhere so I covered up in my new cropped moto leather jacket. It’s the perfect outer layer for Los Angeles mornings and nights that start and end a bit chillier than mid-day weather. Among the things I miss most about living in the northeast, especially in the summer? Those consistently humid nights!
