If you are vintage-obsessed like me, then you won’t be disappointed by Project Urban Renewal (PUR) at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood. Open until spring, the store is carefully curated by Kimberly Bruckbauer with Etsy sellers’ wares and stocked full of one-of-a-kind gems. After browsing the racks, it’s safe to say PUR is a vintage lover’s heaven.

Ever notice the order you dress yourself? Do you usually decide that you want to wear a certain shirt first and then pick your pants, or do you commit to your favorite pair of jeans and then figure out your top business? Pretty sure my thought process for this look last weekend went like this:

teal romper… because I haven’t worn it since my vacay in Hong Kong

And there you have it, the dissection of how my brain works in the morning, as I stare blankly into my closet. Only this time, the process was organic and quick once I knew I was heading in the bold color blocking direction.

Thanks to the amazing Courtney, owner of L.A. Vintage Exchange, I scored this boxy 80′s-esque hot pink number for less than the cost of my go-to Coffee Bean Malibu Dream drink.  As chronicled here, rarely do I wear heels.  You know when people say there’s nothing worse than a girl who can’t walk in heels.  Well, I’m borderline THAT girl.  Lucky for me, I found these comfy heels on sale for $30 at Zara this weekend, perfectly fitting for my rusty-walking-in-heels-self.

This post is dedicated to my mom who called me yesterday from NJ just to scold me about posting photos of shoes for two days in a row.  Here’s my outfit post, mom!  Happy now?  Love you.

Right now my style is having a major case of ADD.  One minute, I’m feeling the whole menswear-inspired look (check out Tomboy Style – new favorite blog), and the next minute, I’m buying this 80′s gold vintage jumpsuit.  First Etsy purchase!  To be completely ridiculous (because life’s more fun that way), I will likely wear my Jeffrey Campbell gold glitter Litas with it.  Oh, I can’t wait for the stares and slow neck turns.
