That feeling you get when the last thing you put on ties your whole look together. SMALL VICTORIES, people. In this case, I have my new CCXVI wool cap to thank for making this look feel complete after deciding to go with burgundy platforms. And yes, I have started quite the cap collection now! Two years ago I was all about floppy hats, buying them left and right, and now I’m seriously into caps. Go figure.
Danish brand,Wood Wood, hits one out of the ballpark again with its casual sporty S/S ’13 collection, 3rd Movement. And yes, that does really look like a jogging suit with a trench coat (first photo)!
Accents of any kind are my weakness. Australian, English, Boston; you name it and I get that woozy feeling in my knees. You don’t even have to be “my type” because having an accent instantly ups your attractiveness by 25%. AM I RIGHT? And when putting together a look, my favorite accents are red ones. Quick snapshot of what I wore this weekend with the full outfit post to follow. Accents courtesy of NARS Heat Wave lipstick and Zara (bag is on sale in-store; unavailable online).
These sneakers legit make me sad since I’ll never be able to wear them. Only available in men’s sizes <LAME> I can’t help but think that ladies would like these too. Since I already have my silver Pierre Hardy high-tops, I’ve been looking for a pair of gold sneakers and these fit the bill perfectly. Sadness.
If you’re a lady who wears a 10+, you’re in luck. Find these at Play Cloths and Wish Atlanta.
