Give It To Me

I was bummed when I thought I missed out on these, but today, my heart practically jumped out of my chest when I saw the Jeffrey Campbell Biz Belted Bootie is back in stock with limited quantities! I thought I was hallucinating for a hot sec, but I wasn’t dreaming. They only have them in size 8 and 9, and I’m praying that the 9 fits (with socks, I order a size up) because I normally wear 8.5. I know, for a petite person, I have big feet. Holy hotness, this made my day!

UPDATE: Got these in the morning and just checked back probably 10 hours later, and there are no more size 9′s. Talk about being online at the right place and time!

Peep Show

These are some choice peep-toe booties that are at the higher end of the $ rainbow.  Love the surprise side cut-outs of the Tashkent by Cheyenne J. Colette Perforated Tie Back Booties ($575), as well as the tie at the top.  The perforated leather texture makes it stand out from other booties.  Though not new to the scene, I still had to include the always popular Givenchy Cut Out Bootie ($765).  For a cheaper version, the Pelle Moda Kammi Open Toe Cutout Bootie ($209) still gives you the same idea with cutouts throughout.

These lookers are available at much more affordable prices.  The Anastassia Leather Lace Up Bootie ($189) via Bebe features a woven leather and ankle wrap, with stitching detail down the side.  OTOH, these suckers also have 5″ heels.  I can barely walk in 4″ comfortably, so I’d probably break my ankle in these.   I REALLY want the Steve by Steve Madden Peep-toe Ruffle Bootie ($179).   Yes, they’re on the more classic side, but again, with my slight obsession with ruffles, I must have these.   Lastly, the Vince Camuto ‘Magena’ Bootie features a great fold-over, which covers half the 3.5″ heel.  These are on sale for $89, down from $149 via Nordstrom.

bebe-dress That’s my lame-ass attempt at posting a semi-glam shot of myself. FAIL. Anyway, I’m part of the Total Beauty ‘Beauty Squad’ (alias: BecOnBeauty), and I just started reviewing products. Weighing the pros and cons for buying a product? Then I suggest checking out the multitude of reviews on Total Beauty. I used to avoid online shopping like the plague for the fear of having to return everything, but I love sites that allow folks to post reviews. So key. Sidenote, I’m wearing a Bebe dress that yes, looks like a garbage bag with the shine. It’s stiff too, and at an XXS, I can barely breathe in it. I’ve only worn it once for New Years ’07. This has slowly become a trend of me buying dresses and realizing that two years later, I’ve worn them once. How sad.
