Trying to get my blogging mojo back. Because sometimes you just need to get away… and when you return, you wonder why you stayed away so long. Yes, I straight jacked that out of a SATCepisode. While it’s been difficult to keep up with outfit posts, here are a few snaps of what I’ve been wearing lately.

VENTURED into foreign territory when I picked up these distressed skinny jeans since white denim hasn’t graced this behind in years. Without fail, I’ve managed to unintentionally kick my foot through the knee holes every single time I wiggle into these tight-ass jeans. Luckily, distressed denim is forgiving in that sense.
Hope your weekend was as relaxing as mine, and that you were able to take a moment to observe Memorial Day. Yesterday started off with getting woken up by a call from my college friend Steve who is currently stationed in Germany — before that he was in Afghanistan. After 2+ years of being stationed abroad, he will be transferring to a base in Florida pretty soon. Great news around a holiday that saddens many seems almost bittersweet, but big shout to Steve — who always asks me about my blog — WELCOME HOME, BUDDY!

When I’m at a loss for what to wear — an occurrence that happens way more than it should – a chambray button-down paired with black skinnies is a look that never fails me. Thanks to my amazing (and patient) dad for snapping these photos when I was home on the east coast.
