Maurie & Eve jacket via Mycatwalk.com. Urban Renewal shorts. Steven by Steve Madden Adeson Ankle Boots via Endless.com
I’ll do a ‘proper’ outfit post, but in the meantime, wanted to show you my current wardrobe loves. Got this Maurie & Eve jacket on sale via Mycatwalk.com and it is, in one word, amazing. If you want to immediately touch my heart, give me some leopard print and leather… together. These photos don’t do the jacket justice as there are pyramid gold buttons in the front, gold zippers on the sleeves, and the leopard print extends to the entire back.
Thanks to free overnight shipping from Endless.com, I received these Steven by Steve Madden Adeson Ankle Boots yesterday and I highly recommend getting them. If you are a fan of front foldovers or flaps on boots, you will adore these. The photos on Endless.com really don’t do the boot justice with the buttons done up all the way. I initially had seen them on Shopbop.com so check them out there if you’re interested. If I had the funds, I’d get these in a second color since they also come in black and olive.
Oh yes, and my hair’s shorter. Making my life uncomplicated one step at a time.

Vintage faux fur vest and dress. H&M jacket. WHERE Arianna boots (courtesy of WHERE)
Yes, I’ve recently been on a layering kick, throwing vests on over anything and everything. I esp. love to wear them over leather jackets and blazers.
The WHERE Arianna boots are my choice footwear right now because they are uber comfortable and unique-looking with the trouser leg overlap. Featuring an exposed and hidden wedge, these hand-made leather boots amazingly make my size 8.5 – 9 feet appear small. Bonus points. You can snatch up these heavenly goods at Pixie Market.
Thanks so much for all the incredible feedback about the blog revamp. Sometimes I don’t think people outside of the blogging community understand how much time and effort we all put into our sites, which on a personal level is frustrating, and so I’m appreciative of the encouraging words of support from everyone.
Look out for a new Menday post on Monday!

H&M dress and jacket. Zara denim vest. Dolce Vita Phoenix sandals. Marc Jacobs sunglasses. Vintage scarf. Marc by Marc Jacobs bag
I’m such a hippy at heart.
I prefer bohemian over buttoned-up, rocker chic to preppy, scruff to clean shaven. If I could wear headscarves and bandannas across my forehead on a daily basis and dance around to the soundtrack that is constantly on repeat in my head… and heart, I would.
Thanks so much for all the great feedback on Menday. To learn what guys (with style and great taste) think about what we’re all drooling over is indeed enlightening.
Yet, it also brings up the point that while learning what the opposite sex thinks is fun, we all ultimately dress for ourselves. Just do you.

H&M jacket and pants. American Apparel t-shirt. Bloomingdales scarf. Vintage belt and Justin Roper boots
“When in doubt, wear red.” – Bill Blass
Regardless of having a stacked wardrobe, I always find myself gravitating toward some variation of this look. I guess you can say the combination of a biker jacket, skinny pants and combat boots makes me feel the most comfortable in my own skin.
Hope you all have a happy Sunday Funday!
