When the weather is piss poor and downpouring, what better way to make it a bit bearable than to wear one of your favorite leopard print, leather sleeve jackets?
Despite the rainy Sunday, my weekend was one of the more recent memorable ones, especially since it kicked off so well with the Mango shopping party I hosted on Friday. Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by. Amazing times! Can’t wait to share the fun photos.

No lies, I’m pretty obsessed with these Senso Haydin leather boots. Remember when I wrote about them HERE? On Saturday, I headed to LF Stores in the mindset that I was going to pull the trigger on the LF Stores x Senso Haydin leopard print boots. But then practicality hit me on the right side of my head and I went with the black leather pair instead. And yes, I am definitely having a menswear-inspired moment.

Here’s my photo diary from last weekend’s Holi Pop-up event at Space 15 Twenty. It was a great day that featured fresh designers, vintage sellers and even feather hair extensions (photos near the bottom!). More importantly, a portion of the proceeds benefited several great causes, making the event that much more special.
Melanie and I also had the good fortune to meet up with Steph from That Girl is Hoisonand Issa & Dru from We Wear Things who are all-around, just awesome. Looking back, it was a flippin-fun-fantastic day.
Loving my new feather hair extensions. I have a total of 7 different feathers in my hair — in two locations — that will last for about two months. They are subtle but definitely notiecable, and an instant conversation starter to say the least. Free People had shown a step-to-step DIY on feather hair extensions on its blog. Check it out HERE.

This isn’t a good-bye but a see you later. I’ll be in Hong Kong soon and this will likely be my sole post for the next two weeks. Bummed to miss all the LA Fashion Week fun, but Hong Kong will have to do.
Thanks in advance for continuing to swing on through here. Anyone want me to pick them up anything from Hong Kong? Maybe we could do a trade of sorts… hmm. I kind of like that idea.
I’ll do a ‘proper’ outfit post, but in the meantime, wanted to show you my current wardrobe loves. Got this Maurie & Eve jacket on sale via Mycatwalk.com and it is, in one word, amazing. If you want to immediately touch my heart, give me some leopard print and leather… together. These photos don’t do the jacket justice as there are pyramid gold buttons in the front, gold zippers on the sleeves, and the leopard print extends to the entire back.
Thanks to free overnight shipping from Endless.com, I received these Steven by Steve Madden Adeson Ankle Boots yesterdayand I highly recommend getting them. If you are a fan of front foldovers or flaps on boots, you will adore these. The photos on Endless.com really don’t do the boot justice with the buttons done up all the way. I initially had seen them on Shopbop.com so check them out there if you’re interested. If I had the funds, I’d get these in a second color since they also come in black and olive.
Oh yes, and my hair’s shorter. Making my life uncomplicated one step at a time.
